For parents/carers of students in Years 7 to 13
Parenting isn’t always easy, in fact parenting a teenager can be extremely challenging. When we see our children unhappy, anxious or displaying high-risk behaviour, it can be hard to know what to do or say to help. Our hope from this parents’ evening is to support your understanding of what mental health is, to identify what is ‘normal’ adolescent behaviour and to offer some useful tips, including how to start a conversation with your teenager and where to get further help if you are concerned. The Evening is open to all parents/carers of children in the school and sixth form. Parking is available onsite.
