Hello, and Welcome to my website about the City of Brighton & Hove. I hope this website can give you an insight into what this city is like and will hopefully persuade you to visit for a weekend or a certain time of the year. If your aged between 16-18 years old then Brighton and Hove is the perfect place to visit for a holiday. To find out about different things that are going on in the year then click on the 'Seasonal Events' button at the top of the page where I have divided different events into 'Spring', 'Summer', 'Autumn' and 'Winter'.

Brighton is full of things to do for young people and some of the topics I have covered would be perfect for someone who had never visited Brighton before, in particular I've covered what shopping there is available for you to do, information about the Sports of Brighton, The Brighton Centre, Royal Pavilion, Theatre Royal and The Brighton Dome and that's not the half of it! There is also Hove which makes up the other half of the City, in my opinion I would say that Hove is not as lively as Brighton as it is a slightly smaller place and more residential. But that doesn't mean it is not worth visiting, you've got the Seafront which is beautiful in summer, Hove Lagoon Watersports Centre which is two minutes away from the beach,George Street which is where all of the main shops of Hove are and Devils Dyke which is based in the countryside and good for Hikers/Walkers, I think that having Devils Dyke part of Brighton and Hove makes a good contrast from the city centre of Brighton.

Overall I believe the city caters for everyone's tastes, interests etc and is well worth visiting if your planning on coming to the south-east of england. It has a huge music scene, night life and beautiful scenery, what more could you ask for!
