Parent Workshops 10th February 2017Thank you to everyone who attended our Workshop on Understanding the Teenage Brain / Coping with Teenagers. It was great to see so many of you there. Parenting isn’t always easy, in fact parenting a teenager can be extremely challenging. When we see our children unhappy, anxious or displaying high-risk behaviour, it can be hard to know what to do or say to help. We hope you learnt some useful tips. For those who couldn’t make the Workshop, we will be updating the presentation to Firefly shortly. Our next Parent Workshop will be on ‘Supporting your child to Manage Exam Stress and Anxiety’ and will be held on Thursday 6th April, 6.30-8pm in the Newman College Lecture Theatre. This is available to all parents/carers of students in Years 7 to 13.
