Girls Football Academy

You will study your normal academic courses alongside developing your footballing skills and abilities. In addition to this you will receive seven extra sessions across the fortnight including training, matches, strength and conditioning sessions and video analysis/psychological preparation sessions.

You will become a Student-Athlete; developing time management and leadership skills both on and off the pitch. You will have opportunities to develop your coaching ability with entry onto the Community Sports Leaders Award (CSLA) and assisting in the coaching of the Cardinal Newman Catholic School football teams.

Academic:

  • Excellent coaching (UEFA A/B minimum)
  • Frequent match reports in She Kicks

Do I have to be currently  attending Cardinal Newman Catholic School?

We welcome students from all over Sussex and beyond on to this programme.

When can I apply?

Applications for Newman College and interest in the Girls’ Football Academy should be made through the usual Newman College application process.
