As we (finally!) approach the wonderful feast of Easter we count our blessings across the school and give thanks for another amazing term, crammed full of opportunities and enrichment. This week we have had a group of Spanish students with us as part of an exciting new immersion project giving our students the opportunity to interact with their peers from another country and forge lasting friendships. Our Year 10 Art students went to the University of Brighton, where they took part in a dress history and sculpture workshop. Our Year 7 Boys Football team won against Blatchington Mill 5-2 and our Year 8, 9 and 10 Boys Rugby teams played against Brighton Schools Barbarian teams and won them all. And finally, anyone who experienced our Jazz and Pop Nights this week will know what a huge number of talented students and teachers we have here, who were either performing in their own bands, as soloists or as members of our extra-curricular music clubs.
After an exhilarating but exhausting term, it just remains for me to wish everyone a happy and restful Easter celebration and to say to Year 11 and their parents that we will keep you all in our thoughts and prayers as you use the time to revise and prepare.
