
Year 9
Preparing you for your KS4 journey
As they progress through the school students display varying abilities and competencies and our approaches to grouping for teaching purposes alter to match these differences. Year 9 study
English, Geography, RE, History, Maths, one or two languages, PE, PSHE and Science. They can chose four from Art, Music, IT, DT, Textiles, Food, and Drama.
Students are set for English, Maths and Science.
The increase in setting arrangements enables appropriate programmes of work to be planned. In Year 9 students are also set for English, Science and Modern Foreign Languages.
