In Year 10, all students study a core curriculum of English Lit and Lang, Maths, Science (double or triple) RE. They also study PSHE and PE which are not examined. They then have the choice of four options from Art, Asdan, Business, Computing, Dance, German, Drama, DT, Food, Fast Track Humanities, French, Geography, Health & Social Care, History, IT, Media, Maths Statistics, Music, Music Technology, PE GCSE and BTEC Sport, Photography, Support Studies, Spanish, Travel & Tourism and Textiles.
Most students take 10 GCSEs but a combination of subjects that is less demanding is available. Vocational courses and other ‘support’ options are available and full guidance on these is available.
