Orla McCurdy has been successfully selected to take part in Dance World Cup 2023 with their dance school Brooks Dance Academy.
Dance World Cup is an annual competition that sees 120,000 children around the world aged from 4 to 25 compete to qualify for their country for the DWC World Finals. Previous locations for Dance World Cup include Portugal, Spain, Germany, Romania, England, Austria, Italy, France and Jersey. In 2023, the competition will be held in Braga, Portugal from 30 June until 8 July. The standard is extremely high and only the top 4 or 5 dances per category are selected to compete for Team England who are currently the reigning champions.
Brooks Dance Academy is a dance school based in Lancing, West Sussex who are previous gold & silver medal winners for England when they last attended in 2021. For 2023, the team have qualified with eight routines and can’t wait to compete once more.
