Funded by the Department of Education (DfE), HAF offers free enriching holiday activities with a healthy meal included each day. Eligible participants can access the equivalent of up to four hours per day, over four days of the school Easter holidays. However places are limited, so we recommend bookings are placed early to avoid disappointment.
They have everything available from coding workshops and drama academies, to family cooking workshops and outdoor and adventurous activities, and of course there’s a variety of local Ofsted registered play schemes.

Easter HAF 2023 programme delivery
Week 1: Monday 3 April – Thursday 6 April 2023
Week 2: Tuesday 11 April – Friday 14 April 2023
Eligibility: Children and young people in Reception to Year 11 who receive benefits-related free school meals (FSM). Those who received a unique HAF booking code under the limited discretionary criteria in 2022 will also remain eligible for Easter HAF 2023.
Ensure your families have a HAF booking code
A unique HAF booking code is required for each eligible child.
If the child took part in the HAF 2022 programme, the same unique HAF booking code should be used. Email HAF@brighton-hove.gov.uk, with the full name and date of birth of the child, to request the code be resent.
Those who are new to HAF must first apply for their unique HAF booking code by visiting www.brighton-hove.gov.uk/haf.
