On Thursday 29th Feb, 35 Year 11 students travelled to Oxford with Mr. Harbour and Mr Shears to find out what it might be like to live and study as an undergraduate at the university.
They met Newman alumni Maria Copley (pictured with the group in New College) and Ines Momodu-Hereo, toured several colleges and enjoyed lunch in New College’s medieval dining hall.
This was Stage 2 of New College’s ‘Step Up’ programme; a three year programme of talks and visits designed to support students applying to Oxford, Cambridge and other similar universities
